To ensure that your wedding is added to our diary we require a signed contract, and non-refundable and non-transferable Booking Fee of £150.00.
Upon receipt of the above, we will send you a confirmation email and/or text message to confirm that the wedding date has been secured. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us with the information provided below.
The first quote provided by The Fabulous Florist, will be based on current flower prices. We cannot guarantee these prices will not increase in the months leading to your event. The Fabulous Florist will endeavour to stay as close to your original quote as possible, but there may be up to a 30% rise in the quote to cover the rise of the cost of flowers due to inflation in Europe. Please note that a conversation will be had first, if this were to happen so nothing will be done without your consent.
This agreement forms the entire understanding between The Fabulous Florist and the ‘Wedding Couple’, together referred to as the ‘Parties’. By entering into the agreement, each party acknowledges that they do not rely on any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in the Contract. Variations to this agreement can only be made when attached to this agreement in writing and signed by both Parties.
- Service to be provided
The Fabulous Florist will provide all such flowers and arrangements as specified in Schedule 2 to this agreement.
The flowers will be delivered to the Delivery Location at the agreed time, as specified within the agreement.
The Fabulous Florist will set up table flowers, church flowers etc where needed, provided this service is specified and included within your Final Order Form as set out in Schedule 2.
- Pre-Event Consultation
All detailed wedding consultations will take place by appointment only.
Wedding planning is a process and that decisions made early in the process may be revised as the guest count and the floorplan evolve. This document is a work in progress and will be updated as we progress towards the Delivery Date.
4 to 6 weeks before the Delivery Date, we will hold a detailed consultation to finalise all details and discuss any last minute changes. All decisions made at this stage are final. Following this consultation, you will receive a Final Order Form, which will be appended to this agreement at Schedule 2, and the items shall be produced on the Delivery Date.
7 days before the Delivery Date, The Fabulous Florist will contact you by telephone to have a final run through, and all details will be checked and confirmed.
- Flowers and Foliage
Any images included within your contract, or the Initial Order Form are for inspiration and reference only. The final product and/or arrangements are subject to change.
The Fabulous Florist is providing a natural product and as such, please be aware that the quality and colours may differ slightly to those discussed and agreed depending on season and availability.
The Fabulous Florist reserves the right to make any substitutions, if needed, due to flower availability.
We will of course keep within your chosen colours and will strive to remain as close as possible to your chosen flower.
Flowers and other plant material are for display purposes only and not for consumption.
- Hire Items
If you hire any items from The Fabulous Florist, they must be returned at the earliest convenience, either by the Wedding Couple at an agreed location, or by way of an arranged collection between The Fabulous Florist and the Wedding Couple.
A fee will be incurred for any broken and/or unreturned items at the cost of the rental items, payable by the Wedding Couple.
- Photographs
The Wedding Couple authorise The Fabulous Florist to display selected images resulting from this agreement as an example of The Fabulous Florist’s work and for advertising materials. The Wedding Couple also agree to provide permission for their wedding photographer to send The Fabulous Florist some images of the wedding flowers for the same purpose. An opt-out request must be made before signing this contract, if required.
- Exclusivity
Upon entering into a contract with The Fabulous Florist, it is the understanding of the Parties that The Fabulous Florist will act as the exclusive Florist for your wedding.
By entering the contract, the Wedding Couple agree that no other person or company, professional or otherwise, shall provide fresh or artificial floral products for the ceremony or wedding reception.
- Change to Order, Cancellations, and Changes of Date
Changes to Order
Once an event has been confirmed, The Fabulous Florist will take steps such as ordering flowers, reserving staff and sundries and may refuse to supply other events that wish to book our services. As such, charges may be payable for any changes and/or cancellations of a confirmed event.
Changes to the Order must be made at least 6 weeks prior to the Delivery Date. Changes to the Order must be requested in writing, by the Wedding Couple or Authorised Party only. Changes requested by any other individual will not be actioned. Any requested changes are subject to availability and approval.
We reserve the right to cancel any contract with a reduction greater than 25% of the up-to-date order form as at the date of the request.
Subject to the Bridal Bouquet Guarantee (below at clause 11), once The Fabulous Florist has ordered the flowers for your wedding, not less than 2 weeks before the Delivery date, we reserve the right to refuse any changes.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing by way of Notice. Notice in relation to cancellations will be accepted by email. The date of receipt of this notice will determine the charge applicable.

Change of Date
Changes of Date requested and agreed more than 3 months prior to the wedding are subject to an administration fee of £75.
Any changes of date less than 3 months of the wedding are treated as a cancellation, and the cancellation policy will be followed.
- Payment
Upon entering this agreement, you will have paid a Non-refundable and Non-transferable Booking Fee.
The total balance for your Order will be confirmed in the Final Order Form, and the balance is due 7 days prior to the Delivery Date.
The Fabulous Florist reserves the right to cancel any Orders if full payment is not made in full by this date and is not obliged to offer any form of compensation thereon.

- Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, The Fabulous Florist will deliver your flowers on the Delivery Date, 2 hours prior to the start of your Ceremony Start Time.
Any alternative agreements should be agreed in writing between The Fabulous Florist and the Wedding Couple or Authorised Party.
- Complaints
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your flowers, you must contact The Fabulous Florist within 1 hour of receipt, to ensure that we can do whatever is necessary to rectify the problem.
For complaints raised any duration of time after the wedding, we are unable to refund any money as it is too late to resolve any issues after the event has finished.
- Bridal Bouquet Guarantee
The Fabulous Florist appreciates the importance of the Bridal bouquet, and therefore offers the following satisfaction guarantee:
You will be sent a photograph of your wedding bouquet the day before your wedding to confirm that you are happy with it. Any alterations can be requested on this day and will be made to ensure that you are 100% happy with your design.
Please note that any changes requested on the day of your wedding will accrue an extra charge.
- Limitation
The Fabulous Florist cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver any order due to an Act of God, Terrorism, Crime, Transport failure, Illness of staff members, extreme weather conditions (including snow and flooding) or denial of access to venues or religious sites.
The Fabulous Florist shall not be liable for any breach of copyrights, trademarks or rights of privacy relating to materials supplied by the Wedding Couple.
The Fabulous Florist reserves the right to supplement and/or amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
The Fabulous Florist recommends purchasing wedding insurance from a reputable company to protect your investment on your wedding day.
- Severance
If any provision or part-provision of the Contract is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted.
Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of the Contract.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Contact and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject, matter or formation, shall be governed by, and constructed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
Each party agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute and/or claim as above.
Service of any claims in connection with this Agreement will only be affected in writing and is to be served at the Florist’s address detailed at the start of the agreement.
